"My Mum told me that it was possible to hear the stars sing if you listened hard enough. So I’d go off to the local garage roofs, lie down and stare at the stars. It was my first meditative experience, where language and thought stopped and were replaced by wonder and awe. There’s a world and universe that we can’t see or hear or feel. My work attempts to bring some of that within our sense window."
